Our “Services” can include (1) pharmacy services, (2) providing health and wellness-related information (“Content”), (3), development and retention of healthcare information for rendering healthcare services, including healthcare provider consultations and pharmacy services, (4) telecommunications and technological support required by healthcare providers employed or contracted by Dorsal Medical Group of California, P.C. or similar affiliated professional entities in their delivery of healthcare services, and (5) administrative support required in the rendering of these services, including scheduling, consultation service billing, and pharmacy service billing.

We place strong emphasis on data security and we have implemented security procedures and measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or unintended loss. Where you have chosen or where we have provided a password to access the Platform, you retain the responsibility of maintaining the confidentiality of the password. You may not share your password with others.

We are not responsible for the information collection standards, security standards and data privacy standards of any third parties, including healthcare providers who we collaborate with and the manufacturers of any electronic device you use to access the Platform and Services, and this Privacy Policy does not address the practices of any third parties.
Even though Dorsal may not be a “covered entity” under HIPAA, healthcare providers who you engage with as part of the rendering of the Services may be “covered entities” and as such may be subject to the provisions of HIPAA at times. Your accessing of the Platform and Services and your acceptance of this Privacy Policy incorporates your consent and acceptance to the Dorsal Professionals Notice of Privacy Practices included on the Platform. This notice details the manner in which your healthcare providers may use and disclose your PHI. Dorsal’s collection, use, and disclosure of your PHI, on behalf of your healthcare providers, will be consistent with the Dorsal Professional Notice of Privacy Practices except where you explicitly consent to additional uses and disclosures.
If you are not yet 18 years of age, we must obtain the consent of your parent or legal guardian to this Privacy Policy prior to your use of the Platform and Services. We will determine the acceptable manner of consent at our sole discretion, and if we assess at any time that the consent is inadequate, we reserve the right to not provide you access to the Platform and Services. If you are a parent, legal guardian, or other representative of a minor child not yet 17 years of age, you may use the Platform and Services on behalf of the child. We do not knowingly collect information for minor children unless we have obtained adequate consent.
